Today we celebrate World Social Enterprise Day, a great opportunity to reflect on the impact GreenInc is making in our community. Social Enterprise Day is global movement which celebrates and acknowledges the importance of social impact entrepreneurship.
As a commercial landscape construction social enterprise, we are not just creating thriving outdoor spaces across Adelaide and South Australia; we are creating social impact by providing employment and skill-building opportunities to people of all abilities.
What is a social enterprise?
A social enterprise is essentially a business for good. It is a commercial business that has a strong purpose and reinvests its profits into its purpose. In the case of GreenInc, we create employment opportunities for people who have faced barriers due to disability, life experience or background.
As a social enterprise backed by Bedford, all our profits are reinvested in Bedford's purpose of supporting people with disability with more choice in employment pathways, leading to greater independence and social impact.

GreenInc is a landscape construction social enterprise that has grown out of Bedford's APG (Adelaide Property and Gardens), leveraging decades of experience and expertise in the landscaping industry.
